As I mentioned on facebook and twitter last night, the Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) in New York published the above map for temporary subway service that went into effect at 6am today. You can view the full map at much higher resolution by going to this link.
As we discussed in a detailed post yesterday afternoon, the majority of the line in lower Manhattan remains out of service pending the removal of water, inspections and necessary repairs.
Looking at the wires and social media this morning, there is still much gridlock across the region (as you might expect), despite the mandate of 3 people per car entering Manhattan today and tomorrow.
